Snowshill Manor

Eva Nemeth August 9, 2018

I visited Snowshill Manor with friends on a very hot Summer's day. I'll definitely return in the Autumn as this most be the most relaxing National Trust garden I've ever been to and I know in the Autumn it will be magical..

Around England

I thought I’d take a photo for @milliproust ‘s #windowsillwednesday with these almost gone hycinths. I know it’s not Wednesday and also, Henry thought it was all about him (as always) and not the flowers, so he decided to take over the windowsill. Oh well. Hope everyone is having a relaxing Saturday!
Flowers are not only for Valentine’s day. Beautiful combination of flowers grown and arranged by @gandgorgeousflowers and vessel by @harriet_coleridge_potter Happy Thursday everyone.
Last Spring I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful Oxfordshire garden, designed by @arnemaynardgardendesign, for the current (March) issue of @houseandgardenuk with @claremfos
When I made this little vase, all I could think of was centering it properly and snowdrops were definitely nowhere near on my mind. And now they are the perfect match.
Bruges.
This is not your typical check in photo from Bruges, I know. This week has been an absolute eye opener when it comes to gardens here. Bruges is no longer the charming city of canals, cobbled streets or medieval buildings. But it’s also a city where beautiful gardens are hidden at the most unexpected places. And I’ll tell you more about this later..
In a few days time the snow will all be gone and my hellebores will lift their heads again.
Snowdrops for snow day.
It was almost as cold as this morning but despite the frost we had such a great shoot together. I always love working with Bea, she’s so knowledgeable and creative and also so much fun.
Snowdrop tea. I picked snowdrops from the snowdropcarpet garden of @themillcux - thank you so much Eilidh! There might be more snowdrop images appearing here soon 🙈
I cannot imagine a garden without snowdrops.
Nothing like a January walk in the Cotswolds. Henry did have a wee dip in the stream.
